How long can I book a charter for?

You are welcome to book multiple weeks onboard, depending on availability. Bookings will be on a first come, first serviced basis

Where will the voyage begin?

Our starting point will be either the islands of Kos or Rhodes, both serviced by international airports. This will be confirmed in the weeks before the voyage begins.

Will there be any opportunity for land excursions?

Yes, our itinerary is flexible and there will be ample opportunity to explore the islands and places we visit. We just need to keep in mind the overall schedule of being in Montenegro by late September.

How much sailing would we do every day?

The Captains aim is to spend the mornings sailing to the next island or overnight stop, arriving in the early afternoon. This allows plenty of time for relaxing at anchor or exploring the island or town we're visiting.
By necessity, there will be some longer passages with the possibility of an occasional night passage.

Where will stopover each night?

We like to mix things up onboard Destination Unknown. There will be an equal mix of stops at beautiful, isolated anchorages, quaint town wharves and berthing at docks attached to very hospitable Greek tavernas.

Do we eat onboard for every meal?

Depending on where we are, there will be an equal mix of meals onboard and at tavernas and restuarants ashore. Breakfast is generally taken onboard but when tied up to a town wharf, it's a pleasure to explore the waterfront to find a local bakery and fresh juice or coffee.

How will we join the boat, mid-voyage?

This is where a degree of flexibility will be required. The majority of our stopovers will be at islands and locations serviced either by an airport or ferry service.
The nature of sailing means that we can not lock in with 100% certainty where we will be at a certain time and date. You will need to plan your connections to and from Destination Unknown accordingly.
